With considerable expertise and highly modern machines we can always offer the best solution. We work with very tight tolerances, often down to thousandths of a millimetre (a hair is approximately 50 thousandths). As an aid we have advanced 3D-CAD/CAM manufacturing and ultramodern machinery consisting of high-speed milling machines, wire and sinker EDM and Laser Cusing machinery, among others. With CMM for 3D measurements as well as optical measurements, we control the tools during the entire manufacturing process.

It is no coincidence that several world-leading international companies have chosen FERBE as their supplier of moulding tools. We deliver high-performance quality tools to many industries and are proud experts in a number of different areas, including 2K tools, multi-cavity tools, multiple layer tools and tools for co-injection. Being first with new technology is important to us. We have recently invested in the absolute latest on the market, Laser Cusing, which is a new technique for metal sintering. With Laser Cusing we can create geometries in highly resistant hot working steel, which were not possible before. Cooling channels can be placed in an optimal manner without regard to production technology aspects. Arrow shaped, spiral shaped or another three-dimensional shape of the cooling channels are easily made, which leads to more effective cooling and the cycle time can thereby be reduced by up to fifty percent. At the same time, a more stable injection moulding process and thereby a better product is achieved.

We are proud of our broad expertise and in our all-in concept we also offer fixtures for processing/assembly/control, gauging with advanced measurement equipment and prototype manufacturing, both one-off and small series. We also manufacture special sub-contract parts such as machine parts, templates and unique components.
